Service Description

Join me in ceremony on the Full Cold Moon in Gemini (Wednesday 11/9), for a night of Rest, Release and Reset. The Gemini Moon exactly opposes the Sagittarius Sun. The Gemini-Sagittarius polarity is a mental axis, where Gemini represents the “lower mind” and Sagittarius represents the “higher mind”. A Gemini Moon encourages us to think logically, while Sagittarius persuades us to think in a far broader manner. Sagittarius symbolizes the quest for meaning and ideas that expand upon the here and now. Gemini is quite comfortable in his or her immediate environment or neighborhood, while Sagittarius stimulates us to venture beyond. Neglecting either end of the axis will surely backfire on us. Ideally, a balance should be found between the two energies, and this is what the Full Moon invites us to do. This Full Moon is about communication, attitude, and sense of adventure. Something has been building inside of us, and now is the time when the energy of the cosmos fairly demands that we let it out. Over the next two weeks, we will discover what this means for us. For now, we can’t sit on our feelings. We need to express them. The Full Moon is a peak experience. A time when the moon is fully illuminated and energy has reached a climax. Most people like to set intentions during a new moon. The full moon is a time where we see the benefits of the intentions we set. Use this sound bath and guided mediation as a time to ground down, reflect, and tie up any loose ends of the past month. We will also be sitting in communion with Sacred Cacao. Cacao has been enjoyed as a sacred beverage in Mesoamerica since at least 2000 BCE. Originally discovered by the Olmecs in 1500 B.C. and a staple in the Mayan and Aztec cultures for centuries, cacao had a place in these empires as a sacred, elite, and ritualistic plant. Cacao has the potential to be a guide and gateway to help each embrace the depths of our heart as a starting point for profound healing and remembrance. Gathering together to drink cacao can create healing, connection and inspiration. * What to bring * - yoga mat - water bottle - eye covering - your favorite mug - journal and writing utensil - anything you feel will make your experience more comfortable 1073 Hancock St Suite 301 Quincy, MA
